Health and Well-being
We support efforts that embed the arts and sciences into innovative projects that promote the health and well-being of individuals and communities.
Arts Learning
We support arts learning that spans the life cycle of all individuals.
Engagement
We seek to broaden and deepen our engagement with myriad organizations.

Our Mission

We are committed to cultivating the development of emerging and existing talent to sustain the resiliency and well-being of the American people, military families, and our military heroes.
We are dedicated to improving individual and program outcomes in underserved communities through strategic engagements that fuel the creative process and artistic and scientific ability to influence and elevate the quality of American life.

Our Vision

There is a national imperative for creative action to demonstrate and nurture democracy and social justice. The performing arts and sciences are uniquely poised to shape the values and traditions that give rise to freedom, thought, imagination and inquiry.

Candles in the Arts

Candles in the arts symbolize illumination, beauty, guidance, & enlightenment, sparking knowledge, excitement, & transformation. The dancing flame of the candle embodies our mission: to foster greater access and acceptance of the arts, enhance community engagement, and promote health, wellness, resilience, and restoration, with an emphasis on military families.

The Wilson Foundation is honored to introduce the Artist-in-Residence and Fellows Program

This signature program will support and cultivate notable artists and professionals through their creative expression of the human experience.
Through financial sponsorship and opportunities, Wilson Fellows will be able to explore and connect the visual arts, dance, and cultures beyond classroom education, student interaction, instruction and community connection.
